This state really is so big that there are beautiful places to be all year round.
The Kimberley in the far north is very hot and wet in the summer and many roads are closed due to flooding but having said that February and March are a great time for those keen to land a big barramundi or six!
The winter months are just magnificent, warm and sunny, dry and clear - this is a great time driving the Gibb River Road, sleeping out under the stars by a remote waterhole, bushwalking, wildlife viewing, fishing and all sorts of other wonderful adventures.
Perth has a windy but warm summer and a mild winter. The locals will tell you that the nicest months are April and May and September and October.
South of Perth the wine country has year round charm. The winters are cold and wet but that ensures you enjoy that glass of red, the warming meal and the crackling fire all the more. In the summer the regions pristine white sand beaches, turquoise waters and blue sky days are perfect partnered with a crisp dry white wine and a delicous plate of salt & pepper squid!
